Shepard's Hut

This is Shepard's Hut in Frampton on Severn. It's set up in a garden here. It sleeps two.

It's a proper shepherd's hut on wheels, but it's parked up permanently. It's got a 4 Star rating. Inside, it's all open plan. There's a kitchen area with a hob and a fridge freezer. The bed folds down from the wall. It's a full double bed. There's a shower room too.

Outside, there's a patio area with seating and a BBQ. You have that bit of the garden to yourselves. The whole site is on one level and the entrance has wheelchair access.

Frampton village green is about a ten minute walk. It's one of the longest village greens in the country. There are a couple of pubs there. The Bell does food.

You're right on the edge of the Cotswolds here. The National Trust Cotswolds page has ideas. The Cotswolds National Landscape site is good for walks. The Cotswold Way path runs nearby if you want a long walk.

Gloucester is about 20 minutes by car if you want a city day. The cathedral and the docks are worth seeing. Further into the Cotswolds, Stroud is about 15 minutes away. Tetbury and Painswick are within half an hour.

Facilities wise: all bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and parking. You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine you can use in the main house if you need it.
