The Hay Barn

The Hay Barn is on our dairy farm in Arlingham. It's a conversion, so it's one big open space downstairs. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

You get your own patio area that looks out over the fields. The farm is in a loop of the River Severn, so there are good views of the Cotswold Hills and the Forest of Dean from here.

The stairs are a bit steep. That's just how it is with barns. We've put a stairgate at the top.

You can walk to two pubs from here. One does home-cooked food, the other is known for seafood. Both are about a quarter of a mile. For a shop, you'd need to drive to Frampton-on-Severn, which is a couple of miles away. They have a long village green, a couple of pubs, and a shop.

The river runs along the edge of the farm for about two miles. There are paths and spots for a picnic. If you like walking, the Severn Way is right there. You can also walk along the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, which is nearby.

Within about half an hour's drive, you've got a few places. Slimbridge Wetland Centre is good for birds. Berkeley Castle is worth a look. The Cotswold Water Park is that way if you want to do water sports. Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Bristol are all easy to get to for a day out.

The place has wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
