The Hayloft
The Hayloft is in Cinderford, up on a quiet hillside in the Forest of Dean. It's surrounded by woodland. You get countryside views from the sitting area.
It's a detached building. It used to be a hayloft. It sleeps two. It's all open plan downstairs, with the bed on a mezzanine level above. There's a bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious.
It's part of our small-holding. You'll see sheep in the field and our free-range chickens wandering about. We make cider using an old press. You're welcome to see it.
There are footpaths straight from the doorstep. You see a lot of wildlife. Deer, birds, that sort of thing.
The local shop and pub are about two miles away in the village. They're fine.
For days out, you can walk or cycle straight into the Forest. For other things, Forest of Dean District Council has good information on activities. The Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is right next door. Ross-on-Wye is about eight miles. Gloucester is about twelve. Cheltenham is a bit further.
Facilities: TV, washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
