Bank House Apartment
So Bank House Apartment. It’s in Newnham, right on the high street next to the old clock tower. You look out the front and that's the village. You look out the back and there's the garden.
It's on the ground floor, all one level. The living room is big, with a sofa and a TV. The kitchen’s got an island and a proper table. There's a dishwasher. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The bedroom has a king size bed. We can put a single z-bed in there for a child if you need it.
The patio doors lead out to your own patio area, then into our garden. It's enclosed, so it's fine for dogs. We leave beds and bowls for them. You can have up to two.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and in good order.
In the village there's a couple of shops for basics and two pubs, both do food. The River Severn is just down the lane. If you time it right, you can see the Severn Bore come up the river.
For getting out, you're about ten minutes by car from the Forest of Dean. Good for walking and mountain biking. Visit the Forest has maps and ideas. Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves are over that way too, maybe 15 minutes' drive.
For a day out, Goodrich Castle is about 20 minutes away. Chepstow Castle is about half an hour. Monmouth's a similar distance, it's a nice town for a wander and a shop.
Facilities... the list is pretty complete. Wifi, TV, all bedding and towels included. There's a highchair if required. Golf and horse riding are nearby if that's your thing.
