The Nag's Stable
The Nag's Stable is one of a few converted barns on our dairy farm in Arlingham. It's just for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You're right on a big bend of the River Severn here. The farm has about two miles of river frontage, so there are good walks right from the door. The view from your patio is over fields towards the Cotswold Hills.
The stairs inside are a typical farm conversion style, so they're a bit steep. There's a stairgate fitted at the top. The kitchen has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
The local pub is about a five minute walk through the woods. They do food. There's another good pub a bit further on, famous for its seafood. Frampton-on-Severn village is a short drive away, it's got a very long village green, a shop, and a couple of pubs.
If you want to organise a day out, clay pigeon shooting can be arranged on the farm at weekends, but you need to book that with me in advance.
For things to do, Slimbridge Wetland Centre is about a fifteen minute drive. Berkeley Castle is maybe twenty minutes. The Forest of Dean is half an hour away. Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Bristol are all within easy reach if you want a city trip.
