The Petit Manor
The Petit Manor is in Awre, Gloucestershire. It’s one wing of a big old house, so it’s attached, but you have your own entrance and it’s private. The garden is yours to use and there’s a shared field too, about six acres.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The main room downstairs feels a bit like a barn, with oak beams and a wood burner. There’s a glass roof section above the dining table.
The stairs go up to the bedroom. The shower room has a glass ceiling. The bedroom has an egg-shaped bathtub under a vaulted glass ceiling, so you can see the fields while you’re in it.
There may be people staying in the other wing of the house sometimes. You’ll have your own space, but you might see them in the field.
The River Severn is about a ten minute walk away. The Forest of Dean is close for walking and cycling. You might see wild boar. For activities, there’s mountain biking, Go Ape, and that sort of thing, all within half an hour.
The facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. It says it’s okay for two pets. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them.
