Lambing Shed

This is Lambing Shed, on our farm in Lydney. It's a single-storey barn we converted, so everything's on the ground floor. It's semi-detached, attached to another holiday cottage.

It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms. One is a double with its own en-suite shower room. The other is a twin room, and there's a separate shower room for that. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The main room is open plan. The kitchen area looks out over the farmyard and fields. There's a wood burner in the living area with a big open brick wall around it. It's a nice space to sit in.

Outside, there's a private enclosed courtyard with a built-in barbecue. It gets the sun. There's also a shared lawn at the front you can use.

We're a working farm. If you're interested, you can arrange to come and see the livestock. Just ask us.

The local shop and pub are under a mile away. The pub does food. There's a restaurant about a mile and a half away.

You're right on the edge of the Forest of Dean. There are miles of walking and cycling paths from the door. Canoeing and horse riding are nearby. Golf is locally available. Gloucester is about a 30 minute drive if you want a cathedral or bigger shops.

For facilities: we include bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Parking is on site. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
