Brook House
It's Brook House, near Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire. It's a big, old house that sleeps eighteen people. Nine bedrooms, seven bathrooms.
The rating is 5 Star. It's been done up well inside, so it's comfortable and has everything you need, but it's still an old house. The stairs and floors are a bit uneven in places.
The kitchen is large and open plan, with a table that seats everyone. There's also a living room and a smaller snug. Outside, there's a decent sized garden with a patio and a BBQ.
You're right on the edge of the Berkeley Estate. You can walk to the castle in a few minutes. The town has a couple of shops and pubs. Dr Jenner's Museum is here too, which is interesting if you like medical history.
You're about twenty minutes from the edge of the Cotswolds. The Cotswold Way is close by for walking. Stroud and its market are about a fifteen minute drive. Gloucester and its cathedral are maybe twenty-five minutes. Bristol is around forty minutes if you fancy a city day.
For facilities: all bedding and towels are included, there's WiFi and parking. You can bring up to two dogs. It can be booked with the house next door if you need even more space.
