The Old Dairy
The Old Dairy is in Upthorpe, which is out in the countryside. It's a single-storey place, so everything's on one level. That's handy if stairs aren't your thing. It's detached too, so no shared walls.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms. One's an en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
Outside, there's a fully enclosed courtyard with a patio. It's got garden furniture and a BBQ. There's also a log burner out there. Parking for two cars. Next door, there are two paddocks where dogs can have a proper run. You can bring two dogs.
The Cotswold Way path is right there, literally at the end of the drive. You can walk straight onto it.
A pub that does food is about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest shop is a mile.
Things to do within about half an hour: Berkeley Castle is close. Slimbridge Wetland Centre is good if you like that sort of thing. Tetbury's a nice market town. Westonbirt Arboretum is famous for the trees. Stroud has its farmers' market.
If you fancy a day out further, Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Cheltenham and the Forest of Dean are all under an hour's drive.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
