The Old Dairy is in Upthorpe, near Dursley. It's a detached, single-storey cottage. Used to be part of a farm, so it's solid stone.
You sleep four, in two bedrooms. One is a kingsize, the other is a double with its own ensuite. There's also a family bathroom. It's all on one level, so no stairs. It's a 4 Star, so it's nicely done. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine.
Outside is a fully enclosed courtyard. There's a patio with table and chairs, a BBQ, and one of those metal chimenea things for a fire in the evening. Parking for two cars. There are also two paddocks next door which you're welcome to use. If you've got dogs, they can have a proper run around in them.
The Cotswold Way footpath runs right past the end of the lane. You can be up on the escarpment in minutes. A shop is about a mile away, and there's a pub and a restaurant just under a mile.
Berkeley Castle is very close, maybe a ten-minute drive. Slimbridge Wetland Centre is about twenty minutes. For trees, Westonbirt Arboretum is a bit further, maybe half an hour. Tetbury is lovely for a wander and is only a fifteen-minute drive.
If you want a day out, Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Cardiff are all within an hour's drive. The Forest of Dean is about the same.
Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two pets.
