Stable Cottage Uley

This is Stable Cottage. It's in Uley, at the bottom of a valley. The cottage is opposite our mill house if you know it.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and the bathroom are downstairs. The living room and kitchen are upstairs. It's open plan, so you're all in one space up there. Being Grade II listed, the windows are small and the walls are thick. It's quiet.

The cottage has a five-star rating. That means it's well-equipped and in good order.

You have a little walled garden out the front. It's private.

The local pub is a mile away, up the hill in the village. It does food. The nearest shop is about half a mile. You're a few minutes' drive from Dursley if you need a supermarket.

For walking, you can step straight out onto footpaths. Uley Bury, that big hill fort, is right there. You can walk up from the cottage. The Cotswolds AONB site has maps. For a day out, National Trust Cotswolds properties like Newark Park are close. Stroud is about fifteen minutes by car for the farmers' market. Tetbury is twenty minutes. Bristol and Bath are both within half an hour if you want a city.

It has what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Parking is next to the garden. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
