So, the apartment is called Hole 18 3/4 because it's right next to the 18th green of the Minchinhampton Old Course. You look out onto the golf course. It's detached, but it's in our garden.
It sleeps four. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs up to the bedroom are a bit tight, like a ship's ladder. You'll want to watch your head.
The main thing is the location. You walk straight out of the gate onto National Trust common land. Good walks right from there. The golf clubhouse is next door. They do decent food and you're welcome even if you're not playing. Opposite is a 16th-century pub, The Black Horse. It's cosy and the food is good.
For shops, Minchinhampton village is about a mile and a half. It's got a pub, a chippy, a deli, a butcher, and a general store. Nailsworth is a little further, maybe two miles. That's got more, including a supermarket.
Behind the apartment there's a small, enclosed private garden with a table and chairs. You get a nice view over the common and the valleys from the upstairs windows.
It's got parking, wifi, a TV, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets. Smoking outside only.
