The Clock House Bisley

The Clock House is in Bisley village. It's a detached stone cottage, converted from an old clockmaker's workshop I think. Sleeps six in three double rooms. Two bathrooms, one is an en-suite off the main bedroom.

It's been done up to a high standard. It's comfortable and everything works. They call it a 5 Star, which means it's well equipped and finished.

The garden is a proper feature. It's big, enclosed, and gets the sun. There's a patio with a table and chairs, and a large lawn. We've left a croquet set in the shed if you fancy it.

Downstairs is open plan, kitchen and dining area. Patio doors open straight onto the garden. There are two separate living rooms, which is useful if people want to do different things.

You're right in the village. The local pub, which does food, is literally about fifty paces from the front door. There's a shop and post office a few minutes walk away.

For getting out, you're on the edge of the Cotswolds. Good walking from the door. Painswick Golf Club is about eight miles. Cheltenham racecourse is roughly twenty-five minutes by car. Stroud is close and has a good market.

Practical things: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and parking for two cars on the drive. We can take up to two well-behaved dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
