Flowers Barn is in Middle Duntisbourne, near Cirencester. It's a detached stone barn on our farm. You'll see us around sometimes. We've got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's not a show home.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all on the ground floor. The stairs aren't too bad, but they are the original barn stairs, so watch your head on the way up. The living room and kitchen are upstairs. That gives you a good view over the fields. It's quiet.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We allow two well-behaved ones. There's off-road parking for two cars and we've got a bike store if you fancy bringing bicycles.
Inside, you've got what you need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've also got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you're coming with little ones.
You're in the countryside here. The nearest shop is about four miles away in Cirencester, and the closest pub is three miles. Cirencester itself is a ten-minute drive. It's a proper market town with a good Waitrose. Cheltenham is about twenty minutes away.
For walking, you're right in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are plenty of footpaths from the door. If you want a planned day out, Bibury or Bourton-on-the-Water are within half an hour. For something historical, Cirencester Amphitheatre is run by English Heritage.
That's about the size of it. It's a good base if you want a quiet spot to come back to after being out.
