The Cot
The Cot is in Chalford, in the Stroud valley. It's a detached stone cottage. Sleeps three, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need.
The main thing is the view. The garden is enclosed and looks right out across the valley. You can see it from the kitchen and the sitting room. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
The pub is a few minutes walk away. They do food. The nearest shop for basics is about half a mile. There's on-site parking.
For walks, you can start from the door. The canal path and the hills are right there. For a day out, Painswick Rococo Garden is about a 15 minute drive. Cirencester, with the Roman museum and the shops, is about 20 minutes by car. Cheltenham is under half an hour.
Facilities: it has WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
