The Cot
The Cot is in Chalford, just above Stroud in the Cotswolds. It's a small, detached cottage that sleeps three.
It's two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It feels cosy because it's small, but it's been done up recently so everything works.
The main feature is the garden. It's enclosed and looks straight out over the valley. Really nice spot to sit out. There's parking for one car right next to the cottage.
Inside, it's simple. There's a woodburning stove in the sitting room, a TV, and WiFi. The kitchen has a dishwasher. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
The stairs are steep, as you'd expect. The second bedroom is pretty small, with a single bed. It's fine for a child or one adult.
There's a village shop about half a mile away. The local pub is a few minutes' walk. They do food. For a bigger shop, Stroud is about three miles.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the village with paths straight into the valley. It's a good base. Cirencester is about a 20-minute drive. Cheltenham is about half an hour.
