Folly Cottage
Folly Cottage is in Avening, Gloucestershire. It's an end-of-terrace Cotswold stone cottage. It sleeps three in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. You can bring one dog.
The village is quiet. There's a pub a short walk away. It has an Indian restaurant attached to it. You can get a takeaway if you don't want to cook.
The cottage has a woodburning stove, which is nice in the colder months. There's a patio garden out the back. It's not huge, but it gets the sun in the afternoon. You can park right outside.
Inside, it's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, like most cottages here. We've put a stairgate at the top.
For facilities, you've got WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You can walk straight from the door into the fields. Gatcombe Park is nearby. For a day out, Westonbirt Arboretum is about a ten minute drive. It's good for a walk if you like trees. Forestry England: Westonbirt.
Tetbury is three miles away. It's a proper market town with shops and cafes. Cirencester is about twenty minutes by car if you need more. Bath and Cheltenham are both roughly half an hour's drive.
