Folly Cottage
Folly Cottage is in Avening, Gloucestershire. It's a stone cottage, end of a row. Sleeps three, in two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. People say it's comfortable.
You've got a small garden with a patio and a BBQ. There's parking on the drive. Inside, there's a woodburning stove for the cooler evenings. We leave wood for you. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and a stairgate if you need it. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, but it's not Fort Knox, so keep an eye on them.
The village has a pub a couple of minutes walk away. It's attached to an Indian restaurant and they do takeaways. There are good walks from the door, through the fields and around the village. Gatcombe Park is nearby.
Tetbury is about a ten minute drive. It's a proper market town with shops and cafes. For a day out, Westonbirt Arboretum is very close. It's lovely in any season. Westonbirt Arboretum.
You can get to Malmesbury or Cirencester in under half an hour. Cirencester has the Roman history. Cheltenham for the races is about 40 minutes. Bath is a bit further, maybe 50 minutes.
