Silver Birch Lodge is in Nailsworth. It's detached, but it's next to our house. You get the place to yourselves though. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. Everything's new and it's very clean.
The main room is open plan. It's a good size and looks out over the fields. The kitchen area has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a TV and the WiFi is fine.
You have your own parking spot right outside. There's a small patio with a table and chairs.
It's quiet here, but you can walk into the centre of Nailsworth in about ten minutes. There's a shop, a pub, and a few restaurants. There's a very good deli and a bakery on the way into town.
For walking, you're right on the edge of Minchinhampton and Rodborough Common. You can be up on the common in a few minutes. It's all National Trust land, good for long walks.
By car, you can get to Westonbirt Arboretum in about 15 minutes. Slimbridge Wetland Centre is about 25 minutes away. Stroud is ten minutes, Cirencester is maybe half an hour, and Bath is about 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
