The Downs Barn Lodge is in Frampton Mansell, which is sort of between Stroud and Cirencester. It's a single-storey, detached lodge, so everything's on one level. It's next to our house but you've got your own space.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's open plan inside.
There's a patio and garden area. You can park right outside. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and underfloor heating. It has wifi and a TV.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can store bicycles if you bring them. We accept up to two dogs.
There's an award-winning farm shop and cafe about a three minute walk away. It's very good. The local pub is about a three quarter mile walk.
For places to visit, you're right in the Cotswolds AONB. Tetbury and its antique shops are close. Westonbirt Arboretum is nearby. Cheltenham, for the festivals and racing, is about a 20 mile drive.
Stroud has a good Saturday farmers' market. Cirencester has the Corinium Museum and the Roman remains. For a wider view of the area, the National Trust in the Cotswolds has information on local walks and houses.
