Violet Cottage is in Pitchcombe. It's basically one side of a bigger Cotswold house. You've got your own bit though, it's self-contained. The garden is yours to use and it looks out over the Painswick Valley. The view is really nice.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means everything works and it's clean, but it's not swanky. It's comfortable. There's Wi-Fi.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got kids. There's parking right here. Bedding and towels are included, and we can put a cot in if you need one.
The local pub is about a mile away. The nearest shop is about the same.
You're close to Painswick, which is a nice old town. Slad village is nearby too, which Laurie Lee wrote about. Cheltenham and Gloucester are about a ten-minute drive. If you want to go further, Bath is about half an hour away. You can get a train to London from Stroud, it takes just over an hour.
