Bramble Barn
Bramble Barn is a small barn conversion on the edge of the Cotswolds, near Huntingford. It's one of two barns next to each other. We live in the main house next door.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's all on one level, which is good for some. There's underfloor heating, which is very cosy. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well presented. The floor is stone, so it's nice and cool in summer.
Inside it's open plan. There's a proper kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a TV. WiFi works. It's all single-storey, so the doorway and inside are wheelchair accessible. You park right outside.
The garden is yours to use. It looks out over our land, about 25 acres of fields. That's all you can see, just fields. It's quiet.
There's a pub a mile up the road. It does food. The nearest shop is about the same distance.
You're right between the Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean. The National Trust Cotswolds site has walking ideas. Cheltenham is about half an hour's drive. Bath is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes. For days out, Gloucester and Bristol are easy to get to.
We allow two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair here if you need them.
