This is the Horseshoe. It's a converted barn in Bream, in the Forest of Dean.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one twin. One bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was all done up a few years ago, so it's in good order. Underfloor heating downstairs, which works well.
Downstairs is open plan kitchen and dining area, with doors out to the patio. Separate living room with a wood burner and a TV. The stairs are a typical barn conversion style, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep.
You've got your own patio and garden out the back. There's an electric vehicle charger on the drive. Parking for two cars.
We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
For local walks, you can just step out the door. For cycling, the Forest of Dean trails are excellent, from family routes to proper mountain biking. Beechenhurst Lodge is a good starting point. Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves are nearby.
Chepstow Castle and Tintern Abbey are about a 20 minute drive. The Wye Valley is right there. Monmouth, Coleford, and Ross-on-Wye are all market towns within half an hour.
The village shop and a cafe are about a mile away. There's a golf course locally and you can arrange horse riding nearby.
If you're coming with a bigger group, you can book this place along with the two other barns next door.
