The Granary

The Granary is in Bream. It's in the Forest of Dean. The property is a converted barn, semi-detached, so there's a similar one next door. You have your own part of the garden.

It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. It's comfortable, everything works, but it's not a show home. The stairs are fairly normal.

There's a pub, a shop, and a restaurant about half a mile down the lane. You can walk it.

The forest is right there for walks. You can see the Dean Heritage Centre from here. The Sculpture Trail is good for a wander. Puzzlewood is about ten minutes by car, it's where they filmed bits of Doctor Who. Clearwell Caves are nearby too.

For something more active, you can hire bikes. Canoeing on the Wye is about a 25 minute drive to Symonds Yat. Go Ape is up near Coleford, maybe 15 minutes away.

If you want a town, Chepstow with its castle is 20 minutes. Monmouth is about the same. Ross-on-Wye is 25 minutes. Gloucester is half an hour for the cathedral and bigger shops.

You can book time in a hot tub. It's private, but you arrange and pay for sessions when you get here.

For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if needed. Bikes can be stored. It says it's a romantic setting, it's quiet anyway. You can bring two dogs.
