The Granary is over in Bream, in the Forest of Dean. It's one of a pair of converted barns. You get your own bit of space.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's 4 Star, so it's got everything you need and it's in good nick. The layout is open plan downstairs.
The property is listed as having a romantic setting and being rural, which is accurate. You look out at trees. It's quiet.
There's a shop and a pub about half a mile away. You can book sessions for a private hot tub when you arrive, if you want that.
For things to do, you're right in the middle of it. The forest is on your doorstep for walking or mountain biking. You can hire canoes on the Wye. Puzzlewood is about ten minutes by car, which is the strange, mossy forest place they've filmed things like Doctor Who in. Places like Go Ape, the Dean Forest Steam Railway, and Clearwell Caves are all within a 30 minute drive.
If you fancy a day out, Monmouth or Chepstow with its castle are about twenty-five minutes. Gloucester is roughly half an hour.
Facilities: there's parking, wi-fi, a washing machine, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's bike storage if you bring cycles.
Some useful links for planning: Forest of Dean District Council has visitor information, and Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty covers the local area.
