The Annexe is in Parkend, in the Forest of Dean. It's a separate building in the garden of our house, the 1910 House. You won't see us unless you need something.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a double bed, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's compact and modern. Everything's on one level except one small step into the shower. The doorways are wide.
There's a private patio with a table, chairs, and a chiminea. You can store bikes under cover. Parking for one car.
Inside is open plan. Kitchen area with what you need, a sofa, and a TV. The WiFi works. All the bedding and towels are included.
Parkend itself is a small village. There's a shop and a couple of pubs within walking distance. The Forest is right there. You can walk or cycle straight out from the door.
Good places nearby include Symonds Yat for the view, Puzzlewood, and the Dean Heritage Centre. Tintern Abbey is about 20 minutes away by car. For a bigger town, Monmouth or Chepstow are a short drive. Gloucester is maybe 40 minutes.
