The Old Granary
The Old Granary is on our farm in Hewelsfield. It's a converted farm building, so the outside is stone. You're surrounded by fields and you'll see the animals.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's clean and comfortable. The stairs are fine, just normal stairs.
The living room and kitchen are upstairs. That's where you get the best view over the land. There's a second floor above that, which is a big open space with a TV, games, and bean bags. It's set up for kids.
You can bring one dog. There's a private patio and garden. Parking is right outside.
It's quiet here. The shop is about a mile and a half away. The nearest pub is two miles, in the village. For a restaurant, you're looking at nearly three miles.
You're right on the edge of the Forest of Dean. Good for walking and cycling. Chepstow and its castle are about a fifteen minute drive. Monmouth and Abergavenny are within half an hour if you want a market town. The Wye Valley is right there for canoeing.
