The Old Laundry
The Old Laundry is on our farm in Hewelsfield. It's part of a group of three cottages but has its own entrance and garden.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. One bedroom can be set up with twin beds if you prefer. The rating is 5 Star. It’s comfortable and well-finished.
Downstairs is one big open room with the kitchen, dining area and a sitting space. There's a wood burner. Patio doors open out to a private garden with a patio area. It’s a nice spot.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see animals. The cottage is detached and quiet.
The nearest shop is about a mile and a half away. The closest pub is two miles. You'll need a car.
For things to do, you’re right on the edge of the Forest of Dean. Good for walking and cycling. The River Wye is close by for canoeing. Chepstow with its castle is about a 15 minute drive. Tintern Abbey is maybe 20 minutes. Monmouth and Abergavenny are both within half an hour if you want a market town.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
