Cider Mill Lodge
Cider Mill Lodge is near Tintern, in the Wye Valley. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on one level. That makes it pretty straightforward.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
You get your own enclosed garden with a patio area. The hot tub is out there. The view from the garden is over the valley, mostly trees and fields. It's quiet.
The location is good. You're a couple of minutes by car from Tintern Abbey. It's a striking ruin, right by the river. Worth seeing. Tintern Abbey (Cadw).
You're on the edge of the Forest of Dean. Lots of walking and cycling trails there. The Wye Valley Walk is close by too. Chepstow is about five miles away. The castle there is impressive. National Trust Forest of Dean.
There's a local pub about a mile away, it does food. The nearest shop is about the same distance.
You can bring up to two dogs. We provide bedding and towels. There's parking right next to the lodge.
