The Haybarn is exactly what it sounds like, it's been converted from an old hay barn. It's on the side of a hill here in Llanishen, with the views looking out across towards the Usk Valley. You can't really beat it for that.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom. That's quite handy actually. It's a 4 Star place, so it has everything you need and it's kept in good order.
You're up in the owner's 20 acre grounds, so it's properly rural. The nearest proper shop is about seven miles away in Raglan, so you'll want to come with supplies. There's a pub down the road in Llanishen village, about a mile, for a pint and some food. The garden's yours to use and there's space to park right outside.
For getting out and about, you're in a good spot. The Wye Valley is right on your doorstep. Symonds Yat is about a 25 minute drive, nice for a walk and a look at the river. The Forest of Dean is the same sort of distance if you want to go cycling. Chepstow Castle and Monmouth are both within half an hour. Ross-on-Wye is a bit further.
Inside it's all open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and TV. We include the bedding and towels. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a stairgate and a cot if you need them.
