The Haybarn is near Llanishen, in Monmouthshire. It's half of an old barn on a farm, up on a hillside. You get a lot of space here. The views are across the valley towards Pontypool.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. The living area is open-plan so everyone's together downstairs.
The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and there aren't a lot of fussy things. Being a barn conversion, the ceilings are high and it feels spacious. It's on a working farm with cattle.
There's a pub in Llanishen village about a mile away. For a bigger shop you'd want to drive to Raglan or Usk, which is about ten or fifteen minutes.
You're well placed to see places. The Forest of Dean is about twenty minutes drive. Symonds Yat is a bit further, maybe half an hour. Chepstow Castle and its racecourse are within thirty minutes, same for Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye.
The facilities list covers most things. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking right outside, and a garden with a barbecue. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to three dogs.
