The Suite is in Raglan, on the left-hand side of the pub as you're looking at it. It has its own front door and a proper parking space right outside.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a super kingsize bed, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable.
You need to know about the steps straight away. There are 14 to get up to the front door. They're stone and a bit steep. Once you're in, everything is on one level.
Inside, there's a separate living room with a TV, a small kitchen, and the bedroom. The bedroom is a good size. It's quiet, considering it's next to the pub. You get your own little garden space too, with a table and chairs.
Raglan's a proper village. You've got a really good supermarket, a couple of pubs, a butcher, and a farm shop all within a few minutes' walk. You don't need to drive for basics.
Raglan Castle is the big one here. It's a walk from the cottage. It's a ruin, but a grand one. The views from the top are worth it.
Within about half an hour you can get to Tintern Abbey, or the towns of Monmouth and Abergavenny. The Brecon Beacons are close for walks. If you like fishing, there's coarse fishing about two miles away.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are all included. There's parking. It's family friendly, I suppose, but it's really more suited to a couple. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
