The Suite
The Suite is one of four cottages here, but it's completely separate. It's attached to the side of a pub, but you have your own front door and parking space.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a super kingsize bed, and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
Access is via 14 steps from the car park. They're proper steps, so you need to be okay with that. The parking space is right there at the bottom.
Inside, it's all on one level once you're up. There's a living and dining area, a separate kitchen, and then the bedroom and bathroom. It's quiet despite the pub.
Raglan is a good village. You've got a decent supermarket, a couple of pubs, a butcher, and a farm shop all within a short walk. The castle is the main thing here. It's a ruin you can walk to and explore. Cadw Raglan Castle.
You're well placed for exploring. Tintern Abbey and the Wye Valley are about 15 minutes drive. Monmouth and Abergavenny are under half an hour. The Brecon Beacons are about 30 minutes away for walking. Brecon Beacons National Park.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and an enclosed patio area with a barbecue. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
