The Hayloft is a converted barn in Bryngwyn, near Raglan. It's just for two people. The main room is quite big and tall because it's open to the roof, with stone walls. It has underfloor heating and a wood burner. There's a Smart TV and Netflix.
The bed is up a ladder on a mezzanine platform. It's a kingsize, but you can split it into two singles if needed. The stairs up to it are a spiral staircase. They're open and quite narrow and steep.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden at the front with a patio and chairs. There's also a rack if you bring bikes. There's an electric car charger.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
You're in the countryside here. Raglan Castle is about three miles away if you fancy a look. For a day out, the Forest of Dean is good for walking and mountain biking. The Wye Valley is lovely, especially for a walk by the river or hiring a canoe.
It's a decent spot for getting to other places. Abergavenny, Monmouth, and Chepstow are all within half an hour. The Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains are about an hour's drive if you want proper hills.
