Yew Tree Barn is in Gwernesney, near Usk in Monmouthshire. It's a converted barn, detached, so it's on its own. The garden is enclosed.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One is a wet room on the ground floor. It has a 5 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and in good order. The downstairs is all level, good for wheelchairs or if stairs are a problem.
We allow one well-behaved dog. There's an electric vehicle charger on site.
You've got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a BBQ. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
The local pub is about a mile away. Usk town is a short drive, maybe five minutes. It's a nice little place with a castle, some pubs, and independent shops. Raglan village is also close, it's got a famous castle and a good farm shop.
If you want to go further, Tintern Abbey is about fifteen minutes by car. Abergavenny and Monmouth are under half an hour. For walking, you're close to the National Trust sites in the Wye Valley, and the Brecon Beacons are about a forty minute drive. There's a gliding club near Raglan if that's your thing.
