Clearvewe is a barn conversion we did on our land here in Llangwm, Monmouthshire. It's detached. The garden is yours, and it's south-facing, so you get the sun on it most of the day. We've got a couple of acres, so it feels quiet.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two bedrooms are downstairs, one has a roll-top bath in it, the other has a wet room. The third bedroom is upstairs and has another roll-top bath. The beds are kingsize, and we use organic linen.
The living area is all open plan. There's a wood burner. The heating and hot water are from a biomass boiler and solar panels, so it's a carbon neutral setup. We have electric car charging points.
There's a welcome pack with bread we bake and eggs from our chickens.
The local pub that does food is about two miles away. Usk is four miles. It's a nice little town with coffee shops and a few independent shops. Usk Castle is there if you're interested in that sort of thing.
It's good walking country here. For a bigger day out, the National Trust's Tredegar House is about 25 minutes by car. The Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean are easily within half an hour.
Facilities: there's parking, an enclosed garden, a BBQ, a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
