Sugarloaf Hut Glascoed

Sugarloaf Hut is up on the Woodlake Golf Course, near Glascoed. It's a hut for two people. You get the whole plot to yourselves.

The inside is one open room. There's a double bed at one end, a sofa, a small kitchen area with a breakfast bar, and a shower room. It has a wood burner for heat. It's a 5 Star, so it's done to a high standard.

The main thing is the outside. You have an enclosed garden up there. The view looks over Llandegfedd Reservoir towards the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. There's outdoor seating, a barbecue firepit, and a stone bath with hot water.

You get a golf buggy to drive yourself and your things up to the hut from the car park. It's about a five minute drive on the buggy. You're on a golf course, so you just need to be mindful of players when you're driving about.

You can play golf, obviously. The reservoir is right there for walking. You can do water sports there too, like sailing. Usk town is about ten minutes drive, nice for a wander and a coffee. Abergavenny is about twenty minutes away, good for a market day.

It's a one bed place, so it sleeps two. One well-behaved dog is welcome. All bedding and towels are included. There's parking at the clubhouse. They have an electric car charger there if you need it.
