White Hill Farm Cottage
White Hill Farm Cottage is on our working farm in Wonastow. It's detached, so no one's right next to you. The main thing is the view. You look out over fields towards the Brecon Beacons. You can see Pen-y-Fan on a clear day.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is useful. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything's in good order.
The terrace is south-facing and gets the sun. There's a garden, which was designed to bring in birds and butterflies. You might see deer or badgers in the woods at the bottom of the lane. The paths start from the gate.
The cottage is oak-framed. Some of the wood came from the farm. The stairs are normal, not too steep.
You're a couple of miles from Monmouth for shops and pubs. There's a golf course about two and a half miles away, and fishing is a bit closer.
For days out, you're well placed. The Sugar Loaf is nearby. The Brecon Beacons National Park is about a 25 minute drive. The Forest of Dean is roughly half an hour. Hay-on-Wye is maybe 40 minutes if the traffic's okay. Cardiff is about 45 minutes to an hour, depending.
What's here: a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. There's parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs. There's a BBQ.
