Foxes Reach is in Catbrook, Monmouthshire. It's a detached house on the edge of the village. It's quiet here, mostly fields and woods.
The house sleeps six, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's very well equipped. Everything works and it's kept spotless. The garden is enclosed and private. There's a hot tub out there which we'll have ready for you.
We put the Christmas decorations up in December if you're booking then. Outside lights, wreath on the door. For Christmas and New Year weeks, there's a real tree inside.
You can walk straight from the door into the woods. There's a distillery in walking distance where you can make your own gin. For castles, Chepstow and Raglan are about twenty minutes by car. The Forest of Dean is close, maybe fifteen minutes. There's a steam railway, caves, and they filmed some of Harry Potter there. The Brecon Beacons are about half an hour away.
If you want activity stuff, you can hire bikes locally, go horse riding, or do fishing and canoeing on the Wye. There's a golf course nearby too.
For facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's a wood burner. We include all bedding and towels. Parking for a couple of cars on the drive. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
