Foxes Reach Catbrook

This is Foxes Reach, in Catbrook. It’s a detached cottage, so you won’t have neighbours through the walls. Sleeps six, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable.

The garden is enclosed and private. There’s a hot tub out there, which is under cover. The patio has a table and chairs, and a BBQ.

Inside, the kitchen has everything you’d need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. There’s a wood burner in the living room. You get the streaming services on the TV, and there’s WiFi. For charging an electric car, there’s an EV charger on site.

The stairs are fine, but there’s a stairgate at the top if you’ve got little ones. We provide a cot and highchair too. You can bring up to two dogs.

Catbrook is quiet. You can walk from the door straight into the woods. There’s a local gin distillery you can walk to as well, if that’s your thing.

For a day out, Chepstow Castle is about twenty minutes away. The Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is right on the doorstep. The National Trust’s Wye Valley woodlands are good for walking. Tintern Abbey is a twenty-five minute drive.

You can get to the edge of the Forest of Dean in under half an hour for bike trails and Puzzlewood. Monmouth is fifteen minutes one way, and Raglan Castle is about twenty minutes the other.

All bedding and towels are included. There’s parking for two cars on the gravel drive.
