Court Park Barn is out in Tidenham, in the Forest of Dean. It's on our land, so you look out over one of our paddocks. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both have their own shower room. One bedroom has a super king bed that can be split into two singles if you ask beforehand. Everything's on the ground floor, which is handy.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Underfloor heating, dishwasher, washing machine, smart TV. Outside there's a seating area and a private hot tub. The paddock is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. You can bring up to two.
The property is right on the A48, between Chepstow and Gloucester. You'll hear some road noise. It's not constant, but it's there.
Chepstow is about a ten minute drive. There's a castle there, Chepstow Castle, which is worth a look. They've also got a racecourse. The town has the usual shops, cafes and a few pubs.
For walks, you're right on the edge of the Forest of Dean. Offa's Dyke Path is nearby. Tintern Abbey is a short drive away, up the Wye Valley. For a different day out, Puzzlewood or the Dean Forest Railway are popular. Go Ape is at Mallards Pike, and Clearwell Caves are both within half an hour.
You can get to Gloucester, Bristol, or Ross-on-Wye in under forty minutes if you want a bigger town.
