Owl Barn

Owl Barn is a converted barn in Bream. It's detached and sits on its own, so you get good privacy. The view from the back is over fields.

It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy for a group that size. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been recently done up so everything works and it's in good order.

Downstairs is mostly open plan. There's a kitchen with a big island, a dining table, and patio doors that open straight out. The living room has a wood burner and a TV. There's also a double bedroom with its own shower room on the ground floor, which is useful if stairs are a problem for someone.

Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite. There are two twin rooms and a family bathroom. One of the twins has a TV in it.

Outside, there's a patio with a table and a barbecue. You can park right next to the property. There's also an electric vehicle charger.

You're right on the edge of the Forest of Dean. You can walk straight out onto the footpaths from here. For cycling, the family trails at Beechenhurst are about ten minutes away by car. Serious mountain bikers have got loads of routes too.

Local things we like are Puzzlewood, which feels like another world, and the Clearwell Caves. Norchard Steam Railway is also close. For a day out, Tintern Abbey and Chepstow Castle are about a twenty minute drive. Monmouth, Coleford and Ross-on-Wye are all nice market towns within half an hour.

There's a shop and a cafe a mile away in the village. You can bring up to two dogs. Things like bedding, towels, a cot, and a highchair are all included.
