Owl Barn is in Bream, at the edge of the Forest of Dean. It’s a detached barn conversion, sleeps eight, and is rated 4 Star. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a double bedroom and its own shower room on the ground floor.
The main living space is open plan. There’s a kitchen with a central island, a dining area with patio doors, and a living room with a wood burner. The stone walls and beams are original. There’s a Smart TV in the living room and one in an upstairs twin bedroom.
Outside, there’s a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. Parking is on site. There’s also an electric vehicle charger.
You can bring up to two dogs. We provide bedding and towels. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them, and a stairgate at the top.
Bream itself is quiet. There’s a shop and a café about a mile away. The area is good for walking straight from the door. For cycling, the Forest of Dean has trails for all levels. Local horse riding is available too.
Within a 30 minute drive you’ve got Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves, and the Dean Heritage Centre. For steam trains, there’s the Dean Forest Railway. The ruins of Tintern Abbey are about twenty minutes away, and Chepstow Castle is a bit further. The market towns of Coleford, Monmouth, and Ross-on-Wye are all close.

Owl Barn can be booked with two other properties on the same site if you need space for a larger group.
