Cider Press Cottage is in Oldcroft, in the Forest of Dean. It's a detached place, set in the grounds of our own house. You've got the garden to yourself, it's enclosed so it's good for dogs.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. One of the bathrooms is a ground floor wet room, and the doors are wide enough for a wheelchair. The stairs are a bit steep though, that's worth knowing.
Oldcroft village is about half a mile away. There are shops and a couple of pubs there that do food. For a day out, the Dean Heritage Centre is close by, and Tintern Abbey isn't far either. The Forest of Dean itself is right there for walking or cycling.
You can drive to Ross-on-Wye, Chepstow, or Monmouth in under half an hour. Gloucester and Hereford are a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes.
There's parking on site. We include all bedding and towels. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a BBQ and a bike store.
