This is the Waggon House. It's on our farm in Arlingham. There's a pair of these barns, we live on the farm too. It's a one bedroom place, just for two people.
It's the first floor of a converted barn. The living area is open plan. There’s a wood burner. You get a view over the yard and the fields from the window. You can park right outside.
The bathroom is downstairs. There’s one step down from the bedroom to get to it, so you just need to remember that.
We’re a dairy farm, so you'll see and hear the usual farm activity during the day. There are dogs and cats about. You can bring one dog.
The village has a pub. It's about a ten minute walk through the woods. They do food.
The River Severn is at the bottom of our land. There's about two miles of riverbank you can walk along. It's very flat here, good for cycling. Arlingham is inside a big bend in the river, so it’s quiet.
Frampton-on-Severn is the next village. It’s got a very long village green, two pubs, and a shop. The Gloucester and Sharpness Canal is there for walks.
You're about half an hour from Gloucester. Slimbridge Wetland Centre is a short drive. Berkeley Castle is close. Cheltenham, Bristol, and the Forest of Dean are all within a 30 minute drive.
For places to visit, the National Trust site is good. So is Forest of Dean and Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.
Facilities are listed. It's got a 4 Star rating. There’s WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included. You can store bikes.
