The Waggon House
The Waggon House is a converted barn on our dairy farm in Arlingham. It's just one room, really, with the bed and living space open plan. It's for two people. Everything's on one level once you're in.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped, not basic.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see cows. The River Severn runs along the edge of the land for a couple of miles. There's a footpath from the farm down to the riverbank. It's a good spot for a walk or a picnic.
The local pub is about a five-minute walk through the woods. They do food. There's another good pub in the village too, about the same distance.
If you want to explore, you're quite central. Gloucester and its docks are about 20 minutes by car. Slimbridge Wetland Centre is very close. The Forest of Dean is about half an hour away. The Cotswolds are on the other side of Gloucester, maybe 40 minutes to some of the villages. Cheltenham, Bristol, and the Severn Vale are all within easy driving distance.
In terms of what's here: there's a woodburning stove, WiFi, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. We've got space to store bicycles if you bring them.
