Pershbrook Cottage
Pershbrook Cottage is in Elmore Back. It's a detached house right on the bank of the River Severn. You get a good view of the water from most rooms.
It sleeps seven people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one with a roll-top bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi. There's parking for a couple of cars on the drive.
The kitchen is big. There's a table to eat at, a wood burner, a dishwasher and a washing machine. The living room has a few sofas and another wood burner. The stairs are fine. Two of the bedrooms have their own little outdoor balcony with chairs.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a stairgate and a highchair if you need them.
The local pub is about 400 yards away. They do food. The nearest shop is just over a mile away in Minsterworth.
For getting out, you're in a good spot. The Forest of Dean is about a 15-minute drive. There's walking, cycling, and Go Ape if you want that. Cheltenham is 20 minutes away for shopping or a meal out. If you like the villages, Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and Chipping Campden are all within a 30 to 40 minute drive.
The river is right there if you want to fish. There's a golf course nearby. For planning wider trips, the Cotswolds website is useful.
