The Hideaway Cottage is in Gloucester city centre, near the cathedral. It's one of the oldest buildings in Gloucester, so the walls are thick and the windowsills are deep. It looks right out at the cathedral, which is quite a view.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not modern or flash. You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
You're right in the middle of things. Shops, the market, pubs and restaurants are a few minutes' walk. The Cathedral is the main thing to see. The cloisters were in the Harry Potter films. The docks are interesting for a wander, and there's a lot of Roman history under the city.
It's a good spot for getting out. The Cotswolds are about twenty minutes' drive. The Forest of Dean is about half an hour for walking or cycling. Cheltenham is close too, for the races or the festivals.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking outside. Bedding and towels are included. The garden gets sun in the afternoon.
