Holders Cottage

Holders Cottage is a single bed cottage for two people. It's detached and sits by itself in the field next to our house. You get a private terrace out the front and a driveway for your car.

It's on one floor, which is useful. There's a main living area that's open plan, with a kitchen at one end. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room. It's a 5 Star property, so everything is in good order and it's well equipped.

The location is quiet. It's between Newent, which is a small market town, and Gloucester. You're about a ten minute drive from Gloucester city centre. The pub is a couple of miles away.

For walking, you can step straight out onto footpaths. The Wysis Way and Three Choirs Way are both nearby if you want a proper route. It's a good spot for cycling too.

You're fairly central for day trips. The Forest of Dean is about eight miles west. The Cotswolds start around ten miles east. The Malvern Hills are to the north, maybe fifteen miles. The Wye Valley and Ross-on-Wye are a similar distance west.

Gloucester has the redeveloped docks and the Gloucester Quays outlet shops. Cheltenham is twenty minutes by car for shopping or the theatre.

The facilities are as you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, all bedding and towels are provided. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
