The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is near Newent, Gloucestershire. It's a big old place, sleeps ten. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

It's got its original features like beams and oak floors. The stairs are what you'd expect in an old farmhouse. The rating is 2 Star. That means it's comfortable and roomy, but not luxurious.

There's a tennis court and a swimming pool on site. The pool's outdoors. You've got a big enclosed garden, good for kids. We leave bedding and towels for you.

You can walk along the brook into Newent, which takes about 20 minutes. There's a shop and a couple of pubs there. It's a proper market town.

It's a good spot for getting out. The Forest of Dean is right there for walking or cycling. Gloucester is about a 20-minute drive, you can see the cathedral and the docks. Cheltenham is maybe half an hour away. The Cotswolds and the Wye Valley are both easy to get to from here.
