Yartleton Farm
Right, Yartleton Farm. It's our place, it's on our farm near Longhope. You look out over our fields and then the Forest of Dean starts. It feels quiet.
The cottage is detached, so it's just you in there. It's got a five-star rating because everything's new and it's clean. Sleeps four. One bedroom on the ground floor with the bathroom. The second bedroom is up a paddle staircase to a mezzanine floor, with two singles. That staircase means it's not right for toddlers, just so you know.
You've got your own bit of garden, which is enclosed, with a deck. The living area has big patio doors. They're the best thing about the place, honestly. You just sit and watch the fields. It's underfloor heating downstairs.
Inside there's a kitchen with a breakfast bar, dishwasher, fridge freezer. Smart TV. We include all the bedding and towels. Parking right outside.
You can walk straight into the Forest from the gate. Good for cycling too. Horse riding is nearby, and there's golf. Visit the Forest of Dean & Wye Valley has ideas. National Trust Forest of Dean is good for walks.
For towns, Ross-on-Wye is close. Monmouth and Ledbury are about twenty minutes. Cheltenham and Gloucester are maybe half an hour. There's Puzzlewood, or the Dean Forest Railway. The Mayhill Farm Shop does local produce on Fridays, we can order you a box for when you arrive.
No pets, sorry. We have a cot and a highchair if needed.
