The Coach House is in Drybrook, Gloucestershire. It used to be a coach house, so it's a single building on its own. We live next door in the main house if you need anything. It's quiet here, just fields and trees.
It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything is on one level except the bedroom, which is up a staircase. The stairs are a normal cottage staircase.
You've got a completely private, enclosed garden with a patio and a barbecue. It gets the sun in the afternoon. Inside, there's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings, a TV, wifi that works okay, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
The nearest shop and pub are about a mile away in the village. For a bigger shop, you'd want to go to Cinderford, which is about ten minutes by car.
You're right in the middle of the Forest of Dean. You can walk straight out from the door onto paths. For mountain biking, the forest trails are very close. Forestry England has maps and information.
Within half an hour, you can get to a few different things. Goodrich Castle is an English Heritage site, about twenty minutes away. English Heritage Goodrich Castle. Puzzlewood, which is that famous wooded walk, is about the same distance. The Dean Forest Railway starts at Norchard.
If you head towards the Wye Valley, it's about twenty five minutes to some good walks and viewpoints. Monmouth is just over the border in Wales, about half an hour away.
