Columbine Cottage is on an old town wall in Ross on Wye. It's semi-detached and quiet, even though you're only a three-minute walk from the main street.
It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it’s comfortable and clean but not high-end. One double bedroom has a view over the river. The single bedroom looks into the garden.
The garden is walled on three sides. The fourth side is a raised patio built into the old wall, with some flower beds. It’s enclosed and private.
You’re a couple of hundred yards from a pub that does food and a shop. Ross itself is a nice little town on the River Wye. Good for walks along the river. You can hire canoes or go fishing locally if that’s your thing.
For driving out, you’re well placed. The Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean are right there. The Cotswolds, Malvern Hills, and Brecon Beacons are all within about a 30-minute drive. There’s a golf course nearby too.
The cottage has WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking on site. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
