Bridle Cottage

Bridle Cottage is in Hoarwithy, near Ross-on-Wye. It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level. That works really well if steps or stairs are difficult for you.

It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and functional.

There's a wet room with a seat and grab rails, and one of the beds is electric so you can adjust it. The doors and spaces are all wheelchair friendly.

It shares a courtyard with one other cottage, Hay Cottage. You get to use the owners' big garden, which is really nicely done, and they have a proper full-size tennis court you can use if you let them know in advance.

The lane outside is very quiet. This is proper Herefordshire countryside. Good for walking. Ross-on-Wye and Hereford are both about twenty minutes away by car. There's a good pub that does food a mile down the road.

If you like fishing or messing about on the water, the River Wye at Ross is the place for that. It's a big thing here.

For facilities: you've got WiFi, a washing machine, parking right outside, and all bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.

Useful links for the area: Visit Herefordshire and for walk planning, the Wye Valley National Landscape site is good.
