Stable Cottage is in Much Birch, which is a village just south of Hereford. It's a semi-detached place. The parking is private and behind electric gates, which is a bit grand, but handy.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. It's got a woodburning stove for cooler nights. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, and wifi. The garden is enclosed.
The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but it's an old cottage, so do check the specific access details with us if that's important.
Hereford is about ten minutes by car. You've got the usual shops and restaurants there. The Cider Museum is there if that's your sort of thing. Ross-on-Wye is about fifteen minutes the other way.
For walking, you're close to Offa's Dyke Path and the Three Castles Way. The River Wye is good for canoeing. If you head towards the Forest of Dean, which is about half an hour away, there's loads of cycling and walking paths. Goodrich Castle is that way, and it's a good one to visit.
If you drive for about half an hour, you can get to the Wye Valley, the Forest of Dean properly, or into the Malvern Hills. Hay-on-Wye is about forty-five minutes if you like books.
