Stable Cottage

Stable Cottage is in Much Birch. It's a semi-detached cottage that used to be a stable. You park behind electric gates, which is good.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. The entrance and one of the bedrooms are accessible for a wheelchair user, but you should check the full details with us as some parts of the cottage aren't.

It's quiet here. The garden is enclosed, which is handy. There's a wood burner and central heating for winter.

Much Birch itself is small. Hereford is about ten minutes by car. That's where the bigger shops are. Ross-on-Wye is close too. There are a few pubs in the villages nearby.

If you like walking, you're in a good spot. Offa's Dyke Path is right there. The Forest of Dean is about a twenty minute drive. For a family day out, that's where you'll find things like the Sculpture Trail.

The River Wye is nearby for canoeing if that's your thing. Fishing is possible locally, but you'd need a license. There are several golf courses within a twenty or thirty minute drive.

For a day out, National Trust has Berrington Hall and Croft Castle nearby. Goodrich Castle is English Heritage and is worth a visit.

What's in the cottage: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. The parking is on site. No pets, sorry.
