Pengethley Manor is near St Owen's Cross in Herefordshire. It's a big, detached Georgian house set in its own 15 acres of National Trust parkland. It used to be a hotel, so the rooms are a good size and everything works.
It sleeps 22 people. There are 11 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Every bedroom has its own en-suite. It has a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, rather than overly ornate.
You get your own private gardens with furniture. There's also an outdoor heated swimming pool on the estate, which you share with a couple of other holiday houses. You book slots to have it to yourselves.
It's in a rural spot. The Wye Valley is very close for walks. Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester are all about a 30 minute drive away if you want a cathedral or shops.
For things to do, you can go canoeing on the Wye, visit Goodrich Castle, or walk up to Symonds Yat for the view. There are several local golf courses, like the Rolls of Monmouth. The area is good for fishing and horse riding too.
Facilities wise: it has parking, including an electric vehicle charger. There's WiFi, a dishwasher, a woodburning stove, and TVs. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair and stairgate. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
