The Retreat is in Longhope. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, with two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor, which is handy.

The garden is yours to use. There's parking. You can bring up to two dogs.

You can walk from the door. The property is on the edge of the Forest of Dean. There's a farm up the lane that you're welcome to explore. It has some listed woodland and a stream.
Around here, you can go cycling, canoeing, or fishing. For days out, Forest of Dean and Wye Valley websites have good information. Puzzlewood is nearby. Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth, and Gloucester are all within about a 30-minute drive. Cheltenham is a bit further.
Inside, it's got exposed beams. The stairs are a typical cottage style.
