The Cider Barn is on our farm in Elton. It's a barn conversion, attached to the main farmhouse. You can see the old cider mill is still in there, which is a nice bit of history. It's got beams, and it's been done up well.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, which is a wet room. Downstairs is open plan, with a wood burner for the colder nights. We leave you some basics to get started, like bread and milk.
The front is south-facing, so you get the sun. There's a little courtyard out there with a table and chairs. You can sit and watch the alpacas in the field. You're welcome to walk in the open fields around the place.
If you fish, there's a carp lake you can walk to, just down the lane. The nearest shop is half a mile, and the closest pub is about a mile and a half.
You're in a good spot for the Forest of Dean. Symonds Yat is about a 15 minute drive. Cheltenham and Gloucester are maybe 25 minutes. For a proper day out, the National Trust has some good spots nearby, like Hidcote gardens.
For what's included: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. We can provide a cot and highchair. The bedding and towels are all here. No pets, I'm afraid.
