The Old Winery Cottage is in Poolhill. It's a bungalow, converted from a building we used for the winery. It's detached and sleeps two.
You get fantastic views over the Three Choirs Vineyard and the fields. It's very quiet. The garden is private but within a bigger shared garden we have. There's a hot tub.
Inside, it's one bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There's a second bathroom with a walk-in shower as well, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's spacious, warm, and everything works.
The practical stuff: everything's on the ground floor. There's a wood burner, WiFi, a dishwasher, washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
The local shop and the pub are in Clifford's Mesne, about two miles away. The pub does food. For a restaurant, you'd go into Newent, which is three miles. It's a nice little market town.
You're well placed here. The Forest of Dean starts just over there. Good for walking and mountain biking. The Wye Valley is about a twenty minute drive, nice for canoeing or a visit to Tintern Abbey. Gloucester with the cathedral and docks is ten miles. Cheltenham for the races or shopping is about half an hour.
If you're interested in the local attractions, Three Choirs Vineyard does tours, and the International Birds of Prey Centre is just down the road.
